Payment, Cancellation, and Delivery of the Inspection Report
- A non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total service fee is payable at the time of booking, in order to confirm the scheduled inspection.
- The remaining balance of fifty percent (50%) shall be paid either (a) on-site at the time of inspection, via card payment; or (b) where the Client is not present at the property, via a secure payment link issued by Thermlux following completion of the inspection.
- Cancellations made less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled inspection shall incur a cancellation fee of fifty euros (€50), to cover the cost of the reserved time slot. Cancellations made forty-eight (48) hours or more in advance shall not incur this fee. Thermlux reserves the right to waive this fee at its sole discretion in cases of genuine emergency.
- The technical inspection report shall be prepared and delivered in PDF format within a period of twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) hours following completion of the on-site inspection ("the Delivery Period").
- Thermlux reserves the right to withhold delivery of the report until payment in full has been received. Where the outstanding balance is not received prior to the expiry of the Delivery Period, delivery of the report shall be suspended, without this constituting a breach of contract on the part of Thermlux, until such time as payment is confirmed.
- Thermlux shall notify the Client of any outstanding balance and shall make reasonable efforts to facilitate payment, including by providing a secure remote payment link.
Privacy Policy (GDPR)
Thermlux processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This section will set out what data is collected via the contact and booking forms, how it is stored, how long it is retained, and the rights available to data subjects under GDPR — including access, correction, and erasure requests.
Cookie Policy
This section will disclose which cookies the Thermlux website uses, their purpose (e.g. essential site function vs. analytics), and how visitors can manage their cookie preferences.
Pre-Inspection Agreement
Signed prior to each inspection, this agreement confirms the scope of the inspection, the client's understanding of what is and isn't covered, and acknowledgement of the payment and cancellation terms above.
